It formed through twentieth-century encounters between astrology, Theosophy, humanistic thought, and selective readings of depth psychology. Jung discussed astrology symbolically, but psychological astrology is not a clinical discipline founded or validated by him.
Practitioners emphasize planets as psychological functions, aspects as tensions, and chart patterns as narratives. Interpretations depend heavily on the astrologer’s school and dialogue.
